Living in Norfolk, I am very aware I live in 'Nelson's County'. Admiral Horatio Nelson (1758–1805) was born in Norfolk and was a revered British naval commander and national hero, famous for his inspirational leadership, strategic genius, and decisive victories during the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. He is best known for his final battle, the Battle of Trafalgar, where he died a victor's death.
